Ceramics
Our ceramics are crafted following the ancient Persian tradition. The process begins with shaping the clay to create the biscuit, which is then fired in a flame kiln at temperatures reaching 2000°C. After the first firing, the biscuit is decorated with floral motifs or fish designs, both characteristic of Persian art.
Next, a layer of glass paste, made by combining glass powder and water, is applied. This paste gives the ceramic a glossy and radiant surface after a second firing. At the end of this phase, the ceramic is removed from the kiln while still hot, creating fine cracks in the upper layer, a distinctive crackle effect that adds a unique and refined touch to the piece.
